Where VesnaGlow pulls ahead

The things most competitors bolt on, buy elsewhere, or simply don't do
Front desk that answers

A real AI receptionist

A menu grounded booking assistant on live Claude, reachable by chat, SMS and phone. It knows your services, prices and hours and never invents them. Most rivals offer canned autoreplies at best.

One payroll, not two systems

Payroll built in

Commission, tips, overtime, PTO, benefits, pay runs and W2 or 1099 output live inside the same app that rings the sale. Boulevard and Mangomint hand this off to Gusto.

Med spa grade

Clinical & compliance depth

SOAP charting, an ambient AI scribe, injectable lot tracking with recall, Good Faith Exam gating, encrypted before and after photos, HIPAA and BIPA biometric purge. Purpose built for injectables and lasers.

Decisions, not just dashboards

Intelligence that acts

Utilization heatmaps, retention cohorts, demand forecasting, a revenue opportunity radar, and anonymized peer benchmarks that tell you how you stack up against comparable salons.

Engineered, not patched

Race proof scheduling

Double booking is prevented at the database itself, not just in the UI, so two people tapping the same slot can never both win. Smart gap filling keeps your book tight.

Grows with the client

Flexible checkout

Split tender, memberships with dunning, prepaid packages, loyalty points, punch cards, store credit, and buy now pay later for big ticket treatments — all native to the ticket.

Being honest: what we're still building

A comparison is only useful if it's straight with you. These are the places rivals are ahead today — each is on the near term roadmap.

  • Two way calendar sync with Google and Outlook. The engine is timezone correct; the external sync connectors are not built yet.
  • Native mobile apps. VesnaGlow runs as a fast web app on any device today; dedicated iOS and Android apps are planned.
  • One click payments onboarding. Integrated card processing runs on a Stripe engine that a merchant configures; rivals offer a more turnkey signup.
  • Resource & room management UI. The booking engine fully respects rooms and devices, but managing them still needs setup rather than a screen.
  • Turnkey payroll tax filing. Payroll calculates everything; automatic government filing switches on through a Check integration rather than in house.
  • Social auto publishing. We generate ready to post captions per platform; scheduling them to Instagram or TikTok still happens in your hands.
